Unfortunately we did not get to view the property in person prior to leasing, it was all done virtually. Upon entry we noticed issues with dirt, smells and the total neglect that the place exhibited. To make the story short, we lived in this house for almost eight months and it almost cost my wifes and myselfs life. After my admission to the hospital and subsequent release, we performed environmental testing on the air and swab samples from 950 Mina Ave, as it was thought that we could be having environmental issues in the house. This was suggested as a possible cause while in the hospital. We did indeed have a major environmental issue in the house. Stachybotrys and Aspergillus, both highly toxic and destructive to humans, were found to be in toxic amounts in the air, the air ducts, and the attic insulation. Additionally, Aflatoxins and Saratoxin G, F, and H were found at detectable levels in a 4 week used air filter from October 2020.
